This $999 Electric Bike From Rad Power Could be a Game Changer

Mike Radenbaugh, the Chief Operating Officer of Rad Power Bikes, just introduced an e-bike on a whole new level. The name given to the bike is RadMission, which Radenbaugh, the man himself, has been using all over the city of Seattle for quite a while now.

He explained in a virtual Zoom meeting that he was able to keep this a secret by using tapes over the logo, and wearing a mask ever since the lockdown in Seattle came into effect. Nevertheless, the all-new conveyance is here now to take the world by storm.

Costing just a dollar less than a grand, this lightweight wonder is going to get us from A to B in no time. Given the fact that ever since COVID-19 came into existence with all the quarantine measures that have been taken so far, people have explored other possibilities to tackle current struggles. In doing so, cycling has come forth as a new solution when the question of conveyance is imposed.

Radenbaugh remarks, “I’m never going to stop commuting on this”. The same could be said for anyone who tries out the state-of-the-art bike.

Weighing 15 pounds less than Rad Power’s lineup of other products, the bike has a traditional ring to it. The motor is a total high-torque 500W system that calmly assists when switching lanes, and conquering hills. Moreover, the 7-pound battery consists of is bound to give more than 45 miles when charged just once.

A feeling of freedom is associated with all of Rad Power’s bikes. The experience makes you feel alive, diving deep in the heart of awe-inspiring cycling.

With that being said, Radenbaugh informs, “It handles just like the bikes I used to ride as a kid. The narrower wheels help with that feeling, sure, but there’s something else to it. It just shreds.”

Mike Radenbaugh’s history is beautifully embedded in DIY crafting and just experimenting with different concepts to see what works out. Today, he seems to have triumphed with the innovation.

Co-founder Ty Collins explains the inspiration behind the name “Rad Mission”.

‘Interestingly enough, when we used to ride bikes around as kids, we called it ‘missioning’. That was really the inspiration for this bike. That, and the no-frills bike culture I saw while living in San Francisco’s Mission District in my early 20s.”

Enough said Mike is someone bent on reshaping the future of transport. He intends to make a person carefree if he cannot afford a car for his daily commute. “This entire time, we’ve been trying to make e-bikes that are built for anything and priced for everyone,” he said. “We finally got there.”

Due to the rapid onset of COVID-19, people are having second thoughts about opting for public transport. This makes the e-bike business flourish as electric bikes are being actively sold daily. It’s available for preorder from the official site with shipping starting from October this year.
